Hiawatha Reads for Life!

Hiawatha Elementary School within the Washington Local School District collected books and money for Austin’s Book Club during their Right to Read Week. “We thought it was a perfect way to make sure that everyone has a right to read.” said Lina Young, a sixth grade teacher at the school. Any students, teachers, or staff members that donated, received a  book cut-out with their name which was hung in the lobby. The money collected was used to purchase new books for ABC. The second grade donated the most money and celebrated by watching a Dr. Seuss movie with a popcorn snack.
